Short Journal Entry 17Dark brown hair like the dusk sky right after the sun sets and right before true nightfall. Piercing blue eyes reminiscent of tropical waters. Thick dark eyelashes that make him appear to be wearing eyeliner but it's just a trick of the eye. Dressed in a black Carthage hoodie with dark grey sweats that carry a Starburst orange stripe on the sides. A nice strong jawline and a clean shaven face. Lips that didn't curl up in a smile while I glanced between him and those at my table. He had a salad after his meal and was sitting with two other guys. Short Journal Entry 16She's always bouncing along as if she might step on a stick and fall into the ground. Going in one direction and abruptly changing to another. Hopping along the road and then realizing "Crap a car!" to zip back in the other direction. Collecting rocks and hiding them in a tree to come back for them later at a time when they are most needed. Twitching and chittering happily with the more caffeine she takes in. Frightened by people when they get too close and then returning back to that spot only to be frightened again. Digging through piles of rocks on the beach searching for those of best size and shape. Constantly losing her keys and unsure

Short Journal Entry 15Walking hand in hand were two young lovers. They had walked this road for so many years together. And for the first time she dragged him into the field of tall grasses. Running, spinning, catching one another before they fell. The blades of grass scraped against their legs but all pain was ignored. Adrenaline and racing circles of hearts covered their vision. The purples and yellows and whites blurred with the green as they frolicked playfully through that field of wild flowers. Spinning until they floated to the ground. Side by side, lying in the grass, gazing into each other's eyes; into each other's souls.

Short Journal Entry 14Her body glistened in the light. Her hands obstructed her face. Slowly, to the rhythm of the music, her hand flowed down to her belly button like a serene waterfall. Then like a bird readying for flight, it waved out to the side of her body. The other hand followed suite, fully unmasking the dark haired beauty. Her right hip raised and then pushed smoothly to the side. Her left followed as well creating an alternating current that made her appear to be swimming through honey. Short Journal Entry 13The petal of a rose falling through the air twisting and flipping as if doing stunts off a trapeze. Softly hitting water and gliding along its surface in the direction of its current. Free to spin and twirl at its own will but unable to traverse in the other direction. Anything it passes by is left behind to not be seen and only to ponder. A rock there, a few pebbles too. Nothing of great interest for sure. But then the red glows bright and as the distance closes, there are copies of itself. Millions of them bundled together to make a whole. how did you get the checkers to work?

I believe it's a simple pattern of knit three gray, knit three blue across. Although with the double-sided it's (knit one gray, purl one blue)*3, (knit one blue, purl one gray)* 3 across. And after you do three rows like that you the opposite ( knit three blue, knit three gray). You can actually find similar patterns out there for checkered scarves.
