Short Story 2The buildings were covered in flames by the time Rhys had arrived. Dark clouds of smoke billowed toward the sky and thick smoke filled his lungs. He had seen this many times, over many years. He walked cautiously through the burning timbers of a once beautiful town. It had changed so much over the years and it would be different once again after the flames died out. He quickened his pace. She was here somewhere. She had to be. He'd been looking for far too long to lose her again.
Several planks of burning wood crashed down behind him but he didn't slow his pace nor look back. The smoke burned his eyes and his body was covered in a fine sheat

I decided to try making a new hat. This one is crocheted in two pieces. First the base (in purple here) is crocheted. This is the basic shape of the hat. Next is the overlay (in bright blue). These pieces are crocheted into one another. I had a bit of fun trying to come up with a design for the overlay.

Let me know what you think. If enough people find interest in these, I'll make more and start selling them on Etsy.

Yeah I love blue and purple together. A friend in college had blue and purple headphones. I loved them sooo much that I've become a huge fan of purple and blue together.

Thanks ^_^ I realized after making it that if I did it in maroon and dark mustard color that it would look like a royal crown. That wasn't the intent but still pretty neat.

huh! It actually would! Especially if you made some tassel like things on the top. I do love the intricate design though. Makes me want to get back into making clothing stuff
